Screenshot identification
When you use the screenshot identification tool, the selected image is sent to the scene-search provider so it can return a match. New Anime Guide does not intentionally save the uploaded image to its own persistent storage. The provider may process request data under its own service terms and technical logging practices.
Anime catalog requests
Recommendation and discovery features may request structured anime metadata from external catalog services through the site server. Those requests are made to retrieve public anime data, not to build a personal viewing profile.
Analytics
If Google Analytics is configured, standard usage information such as page views, device information and product events may be processed to understand whether tools are working and which features are useful. Product events do not intentionally include the contents of uploaded screenshots.
Accounts and payments
The current site does not require an account and does not process payments. If account, credit or payment features are added later, this policy will be updated before those features are launched.
Infrastructure
Hosting and network providers may process standard request logs needed to operate and secure the service. New Anime Guide does not sell user data.
