Story

Kaiju Girl Caramelise story

Kuroe Akaishi is a high-school student who has lived cautiously and at a distance from other people because of an unexplained physical condition. She is reserved and uncomfortable with attention, happier drawing or enjoying sweets than navigating a crowded social life.

That routine changes when she falls for Arata Minami, the photogenic and popular boy in her class. Arata is friendly and unusually casual about personal space, which makes every encounter difficult for a girl whose strongest emotions are dangerous. As Kuroe becomes aware of her feelings, the power she has kept dormant starts to surface on a scale that can threaten Tokyo.

The official premise frames the conflict as love versus reason: Kuroe wants the experiences of an ordinary teenager, but attraction, embarrassment and fear can trigger extraordinary consequences. The series blends romance and school comedy with giant-monster spectacle.
